How the Agora Freight platform works

Agora Freight is a unique tool for online freight rate quotations and commercial cargo transportation booking, including multimodal. We have live rates from 100+ trusted partners around the world, we regularly add new API integrations and provide rates, including spot ones, of the largest shipping lines, air carriers and courier services.

100,000+ quotations were performed on the Agora Freight platform in 2023. We estimate that a single multimodal transportation quote can cost an employer up to 10 USD, taking into account wages, taxes, overhead costs. Add to this the shortage of relevant specialists. Numerous quotations require days and hours of work by the logistics team. Today, Agora Freight solves most of these problems in just seconds. It’s impossible to underestimate the scale of savings on resources resulting from the automation that Agora Freight offers.

All quotations for regular customers of Agora Freight are free.

For those visitors who frequently use our platform but are not customers or partners of Agora Freight, there is a range of quotation packages to choose from.

Only successful requests are charged. For one request, the platform can provide several transportation options, sometimes dozens of them.

To start working with the platform, you need to undergo a short registration and then you will have access to 5 free quotation requests. If you need more, then select the appropriate package:

FAQ

What is the difference between the FREE package and paid packages? #

Answer:

The number of quotations in the package is what differs. The FREE package includes 5 calculations.
The period of validity. The FREE package with 5 quotes is active for 1 month. New month — new package. The FREE package is provided for 2 months after the registration. Paid packages are valid for 1 year.
Cost breakdown included in the quote. Unlike paid packages, the FREE package does not include a detailed cost breakdown within each quotation.

What if I want more than 100/200/300 quotations month? #

Answer:

You can combine and purchase additional packages as needed.

What happens to the unused balance of quotations? #

Answer:

If you have not used 5 quotations of the FREE package in one month, only the new 5 quotations will be available to you in the next month. After the second month is over, you will have to choose a paid package.

If you have not used the quotations of paid packages for 1 year, the balance will expire. We will email you reminders about the remaining quotations in the package to the email specified during your registration.

What does 5 quotations per month mean? Is quotation equals the calculation? #

Answer:

By quotation we mean successful access to the system and the demonstration of all transportation options at your request.

For example, one quotation will be considered a 40’HC container from Shanghai to Hamburg, the second quotation will be groupage cargo, 3 cubic meters from India to the UAE, the third one air freight for 30 kg shipment from China to Turkey, etc. In each example, there can be up to 50 transport options in the search results.

In the FREE package, the first two quotations show all available transportation options; the remaining calculations in the package will show only one transportation option.

How does the payment work? #

Answer:

There is an option of payment by wire transfer. Please find the button “Download the invoice” and pay the invoice.

How does the FREE package work? #

Answer:

The FREE package is a starter package in our system, available after registration on the Agora Freight platform. The tariff includes 5 quotations per month. Following month — new package. The FREE package is provided for 2 months after the registration.
